Welcome to Bake A Difference!
We believe that something as simple as a homemade baked good can bring warmth and comfort to those in need. Sometimes individuals experiencing homelessness just need to be reminded there are people who care about them. We are not just sharing baked goods, we are sharing hope and showing compassion to those in need.
I started Bake a Difference after thinking about ways I could give back to my community. That is when I thought about using my baking skills as a way to inspire people who need it the most. Along with other volunteers, we bake cookies and deliver them to local homeless and Veterans shelters in the Rochester, NY area, along with inspirational cards that also offer links to helpful community resources.

Bake a Difference volunteers include International Baccalaureate students from the Rochester City School District, as well as special needs students with autism who are part of a home and life skills class within the same high school. Thank you for all you do.
In addition, we are grateful for the support of National Honor Society students from the Honeoye Falls-Lima School District who generously volunteer their time.

Bake a Difference delivers home baked cookies to organizations serving people who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless.
Comfort
By providing fresh baked goods, we aim to spread joy to those who need it. We bring comfort to those in need, one cookie at a time.
Kindness
Cookie deliveries include cards with inspirational messages and links to local resources, such as shelters and meal programs.
